COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Prodigy Pathways

Prodigy Pathways is a mentorship and access platform built to support talented youth athletes from underserved communities. We connect professional athletes with young athletes who have potential but lack resources, and we provide structured, year-round support that goes beyond motivation. Prodigy is more than a one-day camp. It’s ongoing mentorship, academic accountability, financial assistance, and exposure to real career pathways, both inside and outside of sports. We focus on removing the barriers that quietly push talented kids out of the system: cost, lack of information, lack of network, and lack of guidance.
1. Financial Access
Youth sports are expensive. Travel dues, private coaching, equipment, and tournament fees it adds up quickly.
Prodigy helps offset those costs through scholarship support and direct funding assistance so athletes can stay in the game.
2. One-on-One Mentorship
Each student-athlete is paired with a professional athlete mentor.
Mentorship includes:
-
Consistent check-ins
-
Real conversations about pressure, discipline, and setbacks
-
Accountability around academics
-
Guidance navigating recruiting or early NIL questions
3. Academic & Eligibility Support
We monitor academic performance and help families understand what it takes to stay NCAA-eligible.
That can include:
-
Study support referrals
-
Grade tracking
-
SAT/ACT prep resources
-
Eligibility compliance conversations
4. Career Exposure
Not every athlete goes professional and even those who do need vision beyond the game.
Through our Career Discovery Labs and professional exposure opportunities, we introduce students to additional careers outside of just becoming a professional athlete.

Giving Back to the Houston Community
Following the Houston Tornado and Hurricane, I joined Relief Gang in their mission to support those most impacted. We have been at the forefront of nearly every major catastrophic event in the great state of Texas, stepping up to assist communities in need. Our efforts included cutting down fallen trees that were being disregarded by the city of Houston, distributing food, water, supplies, and clothing to low-income areas, and providing relief to those struggling to recover. This experience reinforced my commitment to serving others and making a tangible difference during times of crisis.
Haitian American
Leadership Organization (HALO)
"Several concerned members of the Haitian-American community in Florida have started the Haitian American Leadership Organization, Inc., (HALO), as a non-profit organization with the goal of unifying and empowering the Haitian diaspora. We have noticed that a lot of our talents and resources are left in the shadows and unexploited. We are providing a platform for our thought leaders and experts from all academic, professional, and technical backgrounds to network and to share their knowledge with our community. We believe that by promoting networking and unity we will be in a better position to help our local community and Haiti. In an attempt to remedy this significant shortcoming, we decided to start with two community projects."
